Privacy notice — CWS Travel

Summary

We collect the bare minimum needed to (a) run the fare research desk, (b) deliver the fare alerts you ask for, (c) call you back when you fill in the contact wizard. We do not sell or rent personal data. We never charge a markup, never hold a credit-card record, never share your contact details with third-party advertisers.

What we collect

Search inputs you type into the finder. Origin, destination, dates, cabin. We store the most recent route in your local browser (a `cws_route_v1` cookie) so the form remembers it next visit. You can clear it at any time.
Fare alert thresholds. When you start a fare watch we keep the route, cabin, threshold and email locally on this device (a `cws_alerts_v1` entry). The email is also forwarded to our notification service so we can ping you when the threshold triggers.
Contact wizard submissions. Name, email, phone, callback window and the short note you leave. Routed via FormSubmit.co to support@cws-travel.com.
Standard server logs. IP address, user-agent, page path, timestamp. Kept for 30 days for security and abuse prevention. Hosted on Cloudflare Pages.

What we do not collect

No payment information of any kind.
No third-party advertising pixels (no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads pixel, no LinkedIn Insight tag).
No social-graph data — we do not scrape your contacts, address book or messages.
No biometric data.

Cookies & local storage

We use a small set of strictly first-party cookies and localStorage keys:

cws_advisory_v1 — remembers you've dismissed the cookie strip.
cws_route_v1 — remembers your last finder route.
cws_alerts_v1 — stores your active fare watches (per device).

No third-party tracking cookies are set on this site.

Your rights

If you are a California (CCPA), Virginia (VCDPA) or EU/UK (GDPR/UK-GDPR) resident, you have the right to access, correct, port and delete the personal data we hold about you. Email support@cws-travel.com with the subject line "Privacy request" and we will respond inside 30 days.
