How CWS Travel surfaces a fare

We poll published fare buckets for the nine largest U.S. carriers on a 30-minute cadence. Each fare line is annotated with the carrier's 90-day on-time performance for that exact route, so the cheapest fare is not always the most useful one.

Reading the on-time number: "On-time 84% (last 90 days)" means the airline operated the flight within 14 minutes of scheduled arrival 84 % of the time over the past 90 days. We pull this from the carrier's BTS A-14 filings and update it monthly.

What the fare does and doesn't include

Includes: base fare published by the carrier, U.S. excise taxes, segment fees, security and passenger facility charges where applicable.

Does not include: seat selection upsells, baggage fees beyond carry-on (see the baggage rules matrix), priority boarding, change/cancel fees, or any partner-site service fee. The airline's own checkout or the partner site's checkout will show those before you pay.
